What is the ennobling of a fabric?
This term indicates all operations and treatments carried out on fabrics and threads, before their final use, to improve or simply modify their appearance and qualities.
By "textile finishing" we refer to those treatments to which the textile material being processed (fiber, ribbon, woven yarn) is subjected to improve subsequent processing, such as dyeability, color or final performance. The most common finishing treatments are bleaching, scrubbing, steaming, thermosetting, mercerizing, washing and degumming.
